The Gujarat Government has introduced several new-age courses like drone application, remote sensing, precision agriculture, inspection of overhead power lines, search and rescue, real-time road traffic monitoring, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Green and Renewable Energy, and Electrical Mobility. These courses have been introduced under the Mukhyamantri Bhavishyalakshi Kaushalya Vikas Yojana (MBKVY) at Kaushalya-The Skill University.
So far, more than 19,000 students have been successfully trained under MBKVY. The skills that the students learned include cloud computing, data analytics, machine learning, advanced CNC machine program, drone pilot, program and manufacturing, green economy and renewable energy, solar PV installer-electrical, sustainable, and natural farming, solar technician, and automotive courses. In addition to MBKVY, more than one lakh youths have been also trained under the Mukhyamantri Apprenticeship Yojana. More than 2 lakh students are being trained through 125 courses in 600 ITIs operating in the state in collaboration with government and private institutions.
